Boscoe von Bue is a beautiful 3 year old Shepherd mix. Per his own words, “Hi, my name is Boscoe! The kennel workers and volunteers say that I am the biggest sweetheart but, the sad truth is, I have been living in the kennels for months. I have come so far since my previous owners drop me off; I am gaining a lot of confidence and you will often see me walking down Hill Street -- head up high and tail wagging. The thing is, I like to take my time to get to know you so I am not your typical extroverted puppy. But once I bond with you (and it really doesn’t take long!), I will always be loyal to you. I am just the right size and am so perfect on leash that they use me as the “demonstrator” dog for first-time orientations. I love riding in the car: sometimes I dream that I am actually on my way home, and I smile at my reflection in the window. I am wonderfully calm and ignore other dogs, even if they are sitting next to me. I think I prefer female dogs over males but I really would rather hang out with my humans, especially if they are giving out tummy tickles that day. The kennel workers have fallen for me - they say that I am the best-behaved dog in the kennels but they think that it is time for me to go home. I had a great first cat test but should not be in a home with young children. I do hope that my forever home has a warm, comfy bed that is just for me"!
